Simon is the Head of Markets at the Tokenise Group, who have established blockchain based exchange trading and settlement infrastructure to deliver the trading of tokenised securities in a fully regulated environment. Tokenise are looking to launch a series of international exchanges that will facilitate the next generation of securities including fractionalised ownership of real-world assets, contracts for future revenues (royalties) in addition to traditional equities and debt products.

Simon has a wealth of knowledge in the industry having been responsible for the development of exchange trading and settlement solutions including an MTF for Pan-European trading and settlement. Simon developed the 535X small cap trading venue and worked at the ICAP Securities and Derivatives Exchange (ISDX), he has also listed companies on a number of different exchanges and trading venues.

Tokenise is looking to operate Regulated Markets in Barbados and ADGM and an EU DLT TSS that deliver integrated synchronous settlement as part of the trade matching process, delivering greater transparency and the mitigation of settlement failure.
