Philip Konopik is SVP Head of Visa Commercial & Money Movement Solutions (CMS) Europe, responsible for leading Visa’s commercial payments and money movement strategy across the region. In this role, he drives growth and scale across Visa Commercial Solutions and Visa Direct, working closely with banks, fintechs, corporates and partners to deliver innovative, secure and efficient payment solutions that support businesses of all sizes. Philip is focused on accelerating adoption of commercial cards, embedded payments, and B2B money movement, while ensuring Visa’s propositions, platforms and partnerships are fit for the evolving needs of European markets.

Prior to this role, Philip was Regional Managing Director for Visa in the Nordic & Baltics, for 5 years, where he was responsible for driving the growth and evolution of Visa’s clients and partners across the region, ensuring Visa was the preferred partner to pay and be paid in secure, efficient and frictionless ways.

Philip joined Visa in 2016 as Country Manager for Ireland, forming part of the UK & Ireland leadership team, where he led market expansion, client engagement and strategic partnerships.

Before joining Visa, Philip was a Principal Consultant and member of the leadership team at Market Gravity, a leading UK/US proposition development consultancy acquired by Deloitte Digital in 2017. Earlier in his career, he worked as a consultant at Capgemini, specialising in digital transformation across the UK and Sweden.

Philip holds an MSc in Business Administration and Operations Management from the Stockholm School of Economics, and a BA in Business Administration from Lund University.
