Laurent is a crypto ETP expert and has listed many crypto-related vehicles on European regulated stock exchanges for the past 8 years.

He runs a successful consultancy firm focused on RWA, tokenisation of money market funds and regulatory framework on ETF & ETP, CEC Capital in London that supports all aspects of the crypto ETP/ETF cycles with firms since 2013, successfully admitting, engineering and wrapping ETPs on stock exchanges.

He is a Board member with Swiss-based SPV Issuance.Swiss AG since 2023, a white label ETP issuance program helping portfolio managers to list their own strategies on European stock exchanges.

He helped Virtune AB, a Swedish asset manager, to successfully list 4 innovative crypto ETPs on Nasdaq Stockholm in less than 7 months in 2023 with $90m in AuM and is now a board member on governance oversight with 400m AuM.

He joined Hashdex, the largest crypto issuer in Brazil, in January 2022 as managing director and head of Europe to lead its expansion in Europe with the admission of the Nasdaq Crypto Index Europe ETP on the Swiss and European Stock exchange,s which is now the biggest crypto basket ETP in Europe with $350m in AuM.

Previously, he was global head of ETP with Swiss-based crypto issuer 21Shares, listing most of its ETP strategies and securing the Swedish FSA prospectus application in 2019 following 4 years with Swedish-based issuer XBT Provider AB, a Coinshares company where he was CEO and admitted the first crypto ETPs in Europe back 2017.

He has over 20 years’ worth of experience in ETF structuring, Delta 1 trading & ETF market making. He holds a hon degree in Mathematics and a Masters degree in Board Dynamics with the FT Non Executive Director's program.
