Jamie is Head of Capital Markets at the FCA. He has had a 30-year career in public policy and financial regulation. He joined the FCA in October 2007, and has held senior positions in Retail Banking Supervision, Risk & Compliance Oversight, Wholesale Supervision and Market Oversight. He was deputy AE for the MiFID II implementation programme in the UK and AE of the MiFID Onshoring project following Brexit. Prior to the FCA he spent 10 years as an industry lobbyist.
