At TCS BaNCS Giles Elliott is Global Head of Business Development for the Capital Markets product division. He joined TCS in May 2016 and his role encompasses developing the strategic product direction, the partnership agenda, and building TCS’ profile in its target markets. He is Vice Chair of the Operating Committee of ISSA.

Giles spent over 20 years of his career in Banking, with roles in several leading Securities Service providers.

From 2007 to 2012, Giles was the Global Product Head for the Standard Chartered Securities Services business and Investors and Intermediaries client segment in Transaction Banking, with scope covering Fund Services, Custody Services, Broker Clearing; Derivatives Clearing; Securities Lending; Collateral Management; and Corporate Trust & Agency Services. He was responsible for a full strategic review of the business; expanding the coverage from 16 to 39 markets; the acquisition of the Barclays Africa business; changing the IT platforms across the footprint.

Prior to SCB, he was the Senior Manager for Product Development and Business Support in HSBC’s Securities Services Asia business, based in HK. And prior to HSBC, Giles spent 10 years at JPMorgan in roles across Network Management and Operations based in London, HK and Sydney.
