Franziska Huber is an economist at the Deutsche Bundesbank and part of the Directorate General Digital Euro, where she works on one of the most innovative and strategically important projects in the European financial system. Her work focuses on the role of central bank money in a tokenized economy and the interaction between public digital money, in form of CBDC, and private digital money, including stablecoins. During her time at the Bundesbank, she completed a hospitation at the BIS Innovation Hub Singapore, contributing to international initiatives on next-generation cross-border payments, such as Project Rialto.
